  1. I like some of the positions in your portfolio. I would get rid of some which bring very little or no income, but that depends on your strategy. But as far as the overall value it is impressive IMHO.

    1. Thanks for the comment. I'm working to make sure I like ALL of the positions in my portfolio (or that they all at least serve a purpose to my goal). While I like dividend income, it's easy to be too focused on it and miss opportunities to own undervalued companies. I bought SIRI below $1/share and have tripled my investment. It's all house money at this point since I've sold quite a few shares over the last year or so.

  2. Pretty diverse looking portfolio. I see we have quite a few names in common but also many that I have never heard of. Are you planning to add any new names above?

    1. DivHut,

I try to keep a fairly balanced/diversified portfolio. My goal would be to have some more big positions (5-10% sizes), but lack the time to do the necessary work at this point. I'm always on the hunt for new names. There are tons of great companies out there - why not own a bunch? I don't think owning too many companies will negatively impact long-term performance. And I get a kick out of saying I'm on owner of the companies that make all sorts of goods.

      Thanks for stopping by!
